A Commendable Awareness Initiative by Reaason Traffic Foundation and Govind Business Branch

Together we can !!!

- On 10th May, the fortnightly awareness initiative jointly conducted by Reaason Traffic Foundation and Govind Business Branch on Suncity Road was further strengthened. On this day, new volunteers and conscientious citizens joined the initiative, giving it broader support and energy.

- As part of the initiative, volunteers stand by the roadside holding placards about traffic rules, engage with citizens, spread awareness, and assist in traffic regulation. Citizens are also responding positively, having spontaneous and meaningful interactions with the volunteers about the necessity of this campaign.


On the occasion of Gudi Padwa and New Year, a symbolic Gudi of traffic rules was raised at CityCare Pharmacy Chowk.

With the motto "Together We Can" 'Reaason Traffic Foundation,' which leads awareness campaigns on traffic rules, raised a symbolic Gudi to mark the New Year. Citizens were urged to strictly follow traffic rules and work towards a congestion-free area.

Women volunteers from the Bhavvishwa Conservation Trust also participated in this initiative. This campaign will be conducted every 15 days throughout the year, where volunteers and responsible citizens will work under Reaason's guidance for traffic awareness and regulation. "Together We Can!!!"


Awareness and Public Education for Safe Traffic

Significant Participation of 'Reaason Traffic Foundation' Volunteers in the Shiv Jayanti Initiative

By planning a unique celebration of Shiv Jayanti, volunteer organizations working towards a traffic congestion-free area took to the streets to educate and raise awareness about traffic rules. The volunteers of 'Reaason Traffic Foundation' took the initiative to pay a special tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
At the Abhinav College Chowk on Tilak Road, in collaboration with officers and staff of the Khadak Traffic Department, volunteers continuously appealed to citizens to strictly follow traffic rules by holding various awareness boards, and the positive impact was immediately visible. The organization's volunteers actively participated in this program. Officers from the Khadak Traffic Department, including Izaak Shelar, Anuradha Kadam, Santosh Yadav, and Vitthal Zhende, provided cooperation and guidance. Speaking on the occasion, Ashwinikumar Shinde stated that such initiatives would continue in the future, urging citizens to participate actively.


Road Safety Awareness Initiative in Vitthalwadi Nagar

Volunteers from the Govind Vyavsayik Milan branch of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Reaason Traffic Foundation conducted a road safety and traffic regulation initiative at Santosh Hall Chowk on Sinhagad Road and Vishva Medical Chowk on Suncity Road. During this initiative, volunteers raised awareness about traffic rules and regulated the traffic. Local residents appreciated the initiative and expressed the need for such programs to be conducted regularly.

Women activists from Bhavavishwa Samvardhan Trust also participated in this initiative. This initiative will be conducted every 15 days throughout the year, with volunteers and responsible citizens carrying out traffic awareness and regulation under the guidance of Reaason. "Together We Can!!!"


Seva Darshan Initiative

27th January 2025

Reaason Traffic Foundation participated in the Seva Darshan initiative held in Vitthalwadi Nagar. Citizens were informed about the objectives of the organization, and a quiz on traffic rules was conducted. Visitors to the stall were given sesame sweets (Tilgul) as a symbolic gesture to encourage adherence to traffic rules.

Padma Shri Girish Prabhune praised the work of the organization and emphasized that such awareness programs should also be conducted in schools and colleges.


Traffic Awareness During Ganesh Festival

16th September 2024

- Yashraj Green Castle Housing Society in Hadapsar, Pune, in association with Reaason Traffic Foundation, organized a traffic awareness and education program on the occasion of Ganesh Festival. Aniket Divekar delivered an informative presentation on traffic issues, causes of accidents, and traffic rule violations. Short films and statistics were used to suggest measures for preventing accidents.

- Society President Mr. Amol Nagavde and Secretary Mr. Sagar Kadam expressed gratitude to Reaason while emphasizing the need for collective efforts to free Pune from traffic congestion.

- A special recognition program is organized to honor vehicle drivers who strictly follow traffic rules. Citizens who use helmets, seat belts, and obey traffic signals are awarded certificates and motivational prizes.

- Awareness campaigns are conducted to highlight the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts. These campaigns include awareness rallies, poster exhibitions, guidance sessions, and direct awareness initiatives.


Awareness Program

Reaason Traffic Foundation launched an awareness campaign to ensure a clear path for ambulances. Under this initiative, drivers were educated on the importance of giving priority to ambulances. Awareness was spread through banners and posters at various locations in Pune city, as well as through social media.

Navale Bridge Traffic Survey

26th February 2023

Reaason Traffic Foundation recently conducted a one-week survey on traffic issues at Navale Bridge. Various levels of issues were identified during this survey. The survey report was submitted to the Pune Police Traffic Department and the Municipal Traffic Department.

Traffic Safety Campaign – Social Raksha Bandhan Initiative

16th August 2019

Under the "Social Raksha Bandhan" initiative of Reaason Traffic Foundation and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, a traffic safety campaign was conducted at Sinhagad Road, Anand Nagar Chowk. Based on the concept of "Traffic Safety Bond," vehicle drivers were made aware of traffic rules by tying a symbolic rakhi depicting traffic safety. The organization's officials, Apulki Pune, and the police administration actively participated in this initiative.


Road Safety Campaign – Reaason Traffic Foundation

Reaason Traffic Foundation and the Dattawadi Traffic Department conducted a road safety awareness campaign from 28th April to 5th May. Awareness was raised at various intersections on Sinhagad Road regarding adherence to traffic rules. Those following the rules were honored with "Thank You" stickers. Various programs highlighted the importance of traffic safety and rule compliance.



Awareness Campaign on Giving Way to Ambulances

Reaason Traffic Foundation conducted an awareness campaign on giving way to ambulances. As part of this campaign, vehicle drivers were educated on how to properly allow ambulances to pass. Awareness was spread through banners and posters at various intersections in Pune city, and the campaign was also widely promoted on social media.


Pune City Traffic Police "Traffic Awareness Day"

8th October 2016

The Sinhagad Traffic Issue Resolution Forum actively participated in Pune City Traffic Police's "Traffic Awareness Day." Twenty-five members of the forum took part in a human chain at Dandekar Bridge and Mahalaxmi Temple Chowk, placing 1,200 traffic awareness stickers on various vehicles. The members of the forum pledged to follow traffic rules. Mr. M.G. Karpe appreciated the participation of the forum in this initiative.



Traffic Safety Bond Campaign

21st August 2016

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Sinhagad Road Traffic Issue Resolution Forum organized a Traffic Safety Bond Campaign from 18th to 20th August 2016. At Hingne Chowk and Santosh Hall Chowk, rakhis were tied to citizens to raise awareness about following traffic rules. Students tied rakhis to those violating traffic rules to encourage adherence to traffic regulations. School students, teachers, and forum activists participated in large numbers. Some citizens admitted their mistakes and pledged to follow the rules.


Anniversary of the Traffic Issue Resolution Forum

3rd August 2016

The Sinhagad Road Traffic Issue Resolution Forum celebrated its first anniversary on 3rd August 2016 by organizing traffic regulation and awareness programs at Hingne Chowk. Forum members participated in the initiative from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. On 6th August, an official anniversary celebration was held in the presence of dignitaries.



Traffic Management at Prati-Pandharpur for Ashadhi Ekadashi

On the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, a large number of devotees gather at Vitthalwadi in Pune. To manage this crowd, the Sinhagad Road Traffic Issue Resolution Forum managed traffic from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. This greatly helped devotees while crossing the roads. Elderly individuals and women especially appreciated the efforts of the forum members. Additionally, Dattawadi Police Inspector Mr. Karpe congratulated the forum for their initiative.


Traffic Management to Assist Warkari Devotees

During the Palkhi processions of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj, a large number of Warkari devotees arrived in Pune. To ensure smooth passage for them, the Sinhagad Road Traffic Issue Resolution Forum managed traffic from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Parvati foothills and Sinhagad Road. This initiative greatly helped the Warkaris, Pune residents, and traffic police. Pune citizens and Senior Police Inspector Mr. Karpe expressed their gratitude to the forum members.



Raising an Awareness Gudhi to Welcome the New Year

On the occasion of Gudhi Padwa, the Traffic Issue Resolution Forum set up an awareness-raising Gudhi at Santosh Hall Chowk, Anandnagar. Traffic safety instruction boards were placed for drivers and pedestrians. Dattawadi Traffic Department Head, Kalpana Jadhav, visited the event and appreciated the forum's efforts. She also acknowledged the daily traffic regulation efforts by forum members in assisting the police. The forum members worked diligently for this initiative.



Honoring Traffic Rule Followers with Tilgul

13th March 2016

As part of Road Safety Week and the Makar Sankranti festival, the Traffic Issue Resolution Forum conducted traffic regulation, awareness campaigns, and honored law-abiding citizens by distributing Tilgul at various locations on Sinhagad Road.

Around 250 students from Tu. Go. Gosavi School participated, holding traffic rule awareness boards at Manikbag, Anandnagar, Hingne, Vishrantinagar, and Rajaram Bridge Chowk. The school principal, teachers, and forum members guided the initiative.

With the support of the traffic police, an informative video on traffic regulations was shown to students. Under the guidance of Traffic Police Inspector M.G. Kale, the initiative was successfully executed.


Children from "Shivsagar Phase 1" Enthusiastically Support Traffic Regulation

Children from "Shivsagar Phase 1" Co-operative Housing Society on Sinhagad Road actively participated in the traffic regulation and awareness initiative. Kids held traffic safety boards at Santosh Hall Chowk and contributed under the guidance of the forum.

Forum members educated the children about traffic rules. Their enthusiastic participation added great value to the forum’s efforts.


Enthusiastic Support for Traffic Awareness and Regulation from "Sundar Sahavas Phase 1"

The members of "Sundar Sahavas Phase 1" Co-operative Housing Society actively supported the forum’s traffic awareness and regulation initiative. Children, women, and senior citizens participated in traffic regulation activities at Santosh Hall Chowk in the morning, where children created traffic safety boards. Even a 73-year-old senior member, Mr. Ashok Shekdar, and 6-year-old children took part in the initiative. Forum members set an example of humanity by quickly helping accident victims reach the hospital. Forum members guided the society members. The forum expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from "Sundar Sahavas Phase 1" members towards this initiative.

Inauguration by Traffic Department Inspector Mr. M.G. Kale and Guidance on Traffic Regulations

To make its initiatives more effective, the Traffic Issue Resolution Forum organized an inauguration by Traffic Department Inspector Mr. M.G. Kale. On this occasion, Mr. Kale emphasized the importance of the forum's work and provided in-depth guidance to the volunteers on adhering to traffic regulations. His valuable insights boosted the enthusiasm of the volunteers and inspired them to work more effectively in addressing traffic-related issues in the future.
